The Italian-born native studied culinary arts at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. After graduating, she found herself working for many restaurants, including Spago, which is owned by Wolfgang Puck. She also wrote for the magazine Food and Wine magazine. She eventually went on to make the show Everyday Italian, which became a bit hit. Her annual salary is $3 million.
